Hi , this is Dipankar from India.
I was born and brought up in Kolkata, India. After completion of my higher school, I joined defense forces. I used to think that “If there is a God then why all bad things are happening around?” And I was very confused about the existence of the Creator. Many years ago, when I was struggling with my life issues, I was told about salvation through Jesus Christ who died for me and rose again. As I started reading and understanding Him, He revealed Himself to me. I understood that I was living in utter darkness; away from God, His truth, peace and joy. I was frightened about my sinful condition and my consequences. So I repented for my sinful life and asked forgiveness for my wrongdoing. This was starting off my new life in the Lord.
Let me tell you each one of us is in desperate need of the truth and life. The world cannot satisfy us any way. And it seems to be the whole world is in deep darkness and corruption. The whole world is in need of a savior. More than political savior we need a personnel savior. And most of us do not have any answer to this. The religions have failed to give explanation and path which will save us, except few rules, mythology and customs the religion has nothing to offer us.
When we look at our surroundings and the world, we see everything is torn by competition, hate, fighting, discouragement , filled with injustice, stricken by poverty, disease, corruption, war and hunger.People are desperately crying out for an answer and help. They are looking for that answer in politics, in religion, in the activism of all kinds. God’s answer to the problems of the world, however, is the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

As I received a new life and all my old struggle, false lifestyle and strongholds are gone. I started enjoying a life that is full of truth, peace and joy. I am a witness to this new life. Because I received this changed my life, now I have a responsibility to share about this to this world which is in the grip of hopelessness, darkness, enmity etc.
