Our God is a healer. He heals our sickness.
Let’s see God’s intention towards sickness from the scriptures-
Old Testament days-
Exodus 23:25 …And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.
Exodus 15:26 … I am the Lord who heals you.”
Psalm 103:3 ..Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases
New Testament days-
Matthew 8:16 “ When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,
Mark 6:56 “ Wherever He entered, into villages, cities, or the country, they laid the sick in the market places, and begged Him that they might just touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched Him were made well.
Luke 5:15 However, the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities.
We can see that it continued in the book of Acts. We see the disciples of Jesus when they were ministering people they were healing the sick with the power and authority of God.
Acts 5:16 Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.
Many came and all were healed by the disciples.
It was not just in New Testament but beyond that in present time also the God heals sickness. God use his disciples to heal the sickness. We can see the continuation of God’s healing work in present day.
We serve a God who is same yesterday today forever. He wants to heal your sickness.
