Fear Not

Do not fear. God does not want youto live in fear. We need to fear God but apart from this God does not you to fear anything. Satan wants you not to fear God and he wants you to live in continuous fear of the world, situation, circumstances, etc.

Present days there are many terrifying events happening around the world, which may bring fear. Also the devil is a liar. He always tries to plant lies in your heart and mind, so that you live in fear and obey him. Satan wants to keep you in bondage so that he can control your life and you stay away from God.

In spite of all this, God’s children are called to fear God only and live in freedom. If you are child of God you can live in freedom from fear. The Lord has given you protection from all fear and given you a life of freedom.

Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Isaiah 41:14 Do not be afraid, you worm Jacob, little Israel, do not fear, for I myself will help you,” declares the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

Fear is an indication that we are away from God. Fear changes our mind. Fear is a sin. Adam was frightened of his sin to be revealed in the eyes of the lord.

Proverb 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

2 Timothy 1: 7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

If God has not given you the fear the where do they come from?

 How to overcome our fear?

a. Identify it: First of all you have to identify fear in your life.

Identify the source of the fear

Identify the lie related to the

                 Identification of Fears

           i. Is the root of my fear based in unbelief (lie) or lack of faith to trust God?

ii. Where did it come in? (Generational, occult involvement, trauma)

iii. Ask God to link the memory to the emotion.

When we believe in a lie continuously, it can bring fear in you. Continuously fearing something means worshipping it. When you continuously worship a lie it can create a stronghold in your mind.

If you are always fearful it means you pray very less.

Conclusion:

What are you going to do with your fears? You can either keep them or suffer the negative consequences, or you can trust the Lord and place them in His loving hands. Speak and believe God’s word.
